Lemon is Zhang Guan's third novel.
Novel Lemon is an interesting story about three young men Xiao Yang, Lu Ran and A Fei who respectively enjoy writing, painting and singing and two beautiful girls Wen Jing and Xiao Hui. They meet in Beijing, Shanghai and L island which is far away from the madding crowd. During their time spent together, there are many coincidences and misunderstandings between the characters. They also have complicated feelings between each other. Everything seems like it happened but also seems not to happen...
The novel discusses the inner contradiction and struggle of these young guys who are pursuing their career in art when they confront reality and dream. Although it is cruel, it is full of hope...
